In 1979 both Bishop and First Lady Jackson were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. The couple then became active and faithful members of the Northeast Holy Trinity Church in Washington, D.C. They served the ministry for many years in numerous capacities. In 1987 he was ordained and appointed as the Youth Pastor of the Northeast Holy Trinity Church. First Lady too opened her heart and home to the youth of the church.
In 1996 they birthed Emmanuel Christian Center in Ruckersville, Virginia with the vision of “Saving Souls & Building Leaders.” He was consecrated to the office of Bishop on July 12, 2003. God then began to enlarge Bishop Jackson’s territory in great and new ways. He became a spiritual covering and ministry Father for new ministries. Also, a fellowship of churches has been established under the auspices of Emmanuel Christian Ministries Fellowship. On June 18, 2011 Bishop Jackson was consecrated as Presiding-Prelate of Emmanuel Christian Center Ministries Fellowship.
Additionally, both Bishop Jackson and First Lady Jackson hold degrees in ministry. They have a passion for the Word of God winning souls to Christ.
Bishop Jackson is also very active serving on different boards and auxiliaries in the community. His community passion is to establish Lifeline Community and Youth Center, a safe haven for youth in Greene County, Virginia, and the surrounding areas.
